How it fits together
A template is a starting design. Installing it copies it into your shop as your own theme — later platform edits never silently rearrange your shop window. A theme holds settings (colours, fonts, shape), a header and footer, and section layouts for the home and product pages. Custom pages (About, FAQ, Size guide) are built from the same sections and served at /pages/your-slug.
Steps
Open Themes in the dashboard.
01
Browse the template library and Install the one closest to your brand.
02
Edit settings: colours, fonts, corner radius and button style.
03
Arrange the home page: add, reorder, hide or configure sections (hero, product shelf, rich text, video, shoppable image).
04
Edit the product page layout — the page that actually sells.
05
Build custom pages and link them from your header and footer menus.
06
Preview, then Publish. Every publish records a revision you can roll back to.
Tip: Design for the product page first — that is where the buy decision happens; the home page only gets them there.
Menus
Menus belong to the shop, not the theme, so switching templates never eats your navigation. The header supports dropdowns and a mega menu; keep it under seven top-level links.
